- Bright indirect means lots of daylight but no harsh direct sun on the leaves.
- A north window is gentle; a south window is strong and may need a sheer.
- If you can read a book comfortably without a lamp, most plants will cope.
- Yellowing lower leaves often means too little light, not too little water.
